Charents Street
Charents Street is one of the most prestigious residential streets in Yerevan. Charents Street marks the eastern border of the centre of Yerevan. It is ideally positioned for easy access to the city centre, the Republic Square, the Opera House, theatres, restaurants and shopping areas. The main intercity highway to Lake Sevan, Tsakhkadzor and Dilijan crosses Charents Street some 500 metres from Charents 24.
The neighbourhood is famous for its high concentration of top universities (Yerevan State University is within minutes walk from Charents 24). One of the best secondary and high schools is across the street from Charents 24. There are several pharmacies and grocery stores in the area. The building is also one block away from Yerevan's "green belt" with parks, outdoor cafes and sporting facilities that starts from the Grigor Lusavorich Cathedral and continues up to Mashtots Street (about 3 km in total). The park is a favorite visiting place for many Armenian families in the cool summer evenings and is frequented by students once the classes at nearby universities start.
